We Walk The Land
We walk the property together, talk through what you want cleared, and give you a free, no-pressure estimate — a straight price based on the actual work, with no surprises once we start.
We Clear It
One machine, one pass — brush and saplings become mulch right where they stand. Most residential jobs wrap up in a single day, with no burn piles, no hauling, and no scarred ground left behind.
Land services.Done right.
From full-site land clearing to multi-stump removal, we bring the right equipment and the right approach to every job — no job too big, no job too small.
Land Clearing
Full-site clearing for new builds, pastures, food plots, and overgrown acreage — powered by our mini-excavator and forestry mulching head. Efficient, thorough, and ready for what comes next.
Forestry Mulching
Mulch standing brush and small trees in place instead of hauling debris off-site. Faster, cleaner, and easier on the land than traditional clearing methods.
Stump Removal
Full stump removal — we dig the stump out, roots and all, rather than grinding it down. Leaves your yard clean, safe, and ready for whatever comes next.
Brush Clearing & Fire Mitigation
Reduce wildfire risk and reclaim overgrown property by clearing dense brush and creating defensible space around structures.
Trail Clearing & Deadfall Cleanup
Keep trails, driveways, and access roads clear of deadfall and encroaching brush — for hunting land, recreational property, and everyday access.
Burning it is slowerthan mulching it.
Cut & burn
- Cut, skid, and pile the brush before a single stick actually leaves the property
- Slash piles sit for weeks waiting on a DNR burning permit and the right weather window
- A scorched, ashy patch of bare dirt where the pile used to be
- Dump runs and tipping fees for anything that does not get burned
- Tracked dozers and skidders that compact and tear up the ground underneath
Forestry mulching
- Our mulching head cuts and grinds brush into the ground in one pass
- No burn pile, no DNR permit, no waiting on a dry day to legally light it
- Ground material stays where it falls, holding moisture and feeding the soil as it breaks down
- No ash, no scorched ground — just a clean, mulched surface when we leave
- A mini-excavator footprint means less ground pressure and compaction than full-size clearing gear
“The transformation is honestly unbelievable. The property looks so much bigger, cleaner, and easier to enjoy now.”
Jason and Jacob did an amazing job clearing the underbrush on my property. They were easy to work with, communicated well, and showed up on time every day. Their pricing was very reasonable. They worked hard, cleaned everything up when they were finished, and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Jason and Jacob if you’re looking for reliable, quality work!

What is forestry mulching?
Forestry mulching uses a machine with a heavy-duty mulching head to grind brush, saplings and small trees into mulch right where they stand. It clears and cleans up in one pass, so there is nothing to haul away or burn, and the trees you want to keep stay standing.
How much does land clearing cost?
Every property is different. Price depends on how dense the brush is, the size of the area, the terrain and how easy it is to get the machine in. We walk the property with you for free and give you a written price before any work starts, so there are no surprises.
Do you keep the trees I want?
Yes. Before we start, we walk the property with you and agree on exactly what goes and what stays. Many customers want the brush and small saplings gone and the mature trees left standing.
What happens to the mulch?
It stays on the ground as a natural layer of wood chips. It protects the soil, holds moisture and breaks down over a season or two.
Is it hard on the ground?
A compact excavator is light on its feet compared with a dozer or skid steer, and it reaches out to the brush instead of driving over everything. For soft or wet areas, we can schedule the work for winter when the ground is frozen.
Do I need a permit?
Clearing on private land usually does not need a permit. Areas near lakes, rivers and wetlands can fall under county shoreland zoning and state wetland rules. If part of your project is close to water, we will flag it on the walk-through.
When is the best time of year to clear?
Late fall and winter are hard to beat: the leaves are down so you can see exactly what to keep, frozen ground lets us reach soft spots, and the brush will not start growing back until summer. We work year-round, though.
What area do you serve?
We are based in Webster and serve northwest Wisconsin, about 50 miles around: Burnett County, northern Polk County, Washburn County and nearby Barron County, including Webster, Siren, Grantsburg, Danbury, Frederic, Luck, St. Croix Falls, Balsam Lake, Spooner and Shell Lake.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully insured, with $1 million in general liability coverage. We are happy to send a certificate of insurance.
